Do you have a storefront?

Yes, we are located in Historic Downtown Loveland, in between 4th and 5th St. on Cleveland (the one way heading south) Our storefront is open 5 days a week. Thursday-Monday, Closed, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. We have a daily rotating cupcake menu of 5-6 flavors, and we always have a gluten free and a vegan option available. We also carry a limited number of other goodies, including cinnamon rolls, cake pops and pupcakes for dogs. Any custom order must be placed in advance. We do also have retail items available for purchase, such as Hunter’s Hope Candles, birthday candles and happy birthday toppers for cakes, greeting cards, etc.

Do you cater weddings, birthdays and other events?

Yes we do! Please give us at least a few days notice for any custom order and more depending on the popularity of the date. See our catering menu and catering cake flavors for what is available and contact us by submitting an inquiry through out website or by emailing us at Info@thecupcakegypsies.com

Do you offer Flowers or Toppers for the cake?

No we don’t. There are so many amazing florists and places to get custom toppers from. Ask us if you need referrals!

How do you Serve Events?

We can deliver and set up on whatever stands are provided by you. We also have rentals you can choose to rent from us. You can also pick up your order from our location with a signed pickup waiver.

We do not stay at the event for service nor do we return to pick up any rentals at the end of the night. So if you rent stands from us, it is your responsibility to return them to us within 5 days after the event.

Where do you deliver and how much is delivery?

We deliver within the Northern Colorado Region. The delivery charge is dependent on your venue location. Not sure if your venue falls within our delivery radius? Just contact us and we will let you know! We have a $200 food minimum on all deliveries outside a 7 mile radius of our storefront. And goes up based on distance.

We do only take on one large event delivery per day so don’t hesitate to reach out about your event now!

Do you only make cupcakes?

For the storefront mostly yes, but for catering we offer a bigger menu. See the catering tab for more info. Don't get us wrong we love cupcakes but we also love to bake! We have a full catering menu of items to choose from for your event. We even do up to a two tiered cake!

Keep in mind we are a buttercream only bakery for décor. We don’t work with fondant.

What's your pricing?

See our Menu for full pricing, flavor minimums, and maximum flavor options. Pricing varies depending on your event menu, and if you book delivery. With that being said we do not believe in charging a premium for events like weddings and like to be very transparent about our pricing. So if you have a question about a quote, don’t hesitate to ask!

Is there a deposit required to reserve a date?

Yes! We request a deposit of 50% of your total order(a rough quote) to hold your date. This is for orders placed at least a month in advance. Full payment due if order is placed the month of pick up/delivery date. $50 of your deposit non-refundable booking fee in case of cancelation. Payment is due in full 14 days prior to your event.

What's your cancellation policy?

60 or more days prior to the event day, you'll receive your deposit in full (minus booking fee) 59 days or less, you'll receive half your deposit (minus booking fee) 45 days or less, we will retain 100% of your deposit 14 days or less, the full amount will be owed Booking fee is $50. Booking fee covers the time we took to prepared your order and event in our systems and any fees we might have incurred to process your payment.

We do have a reschedule fee if for any reason you need to postpone or reschedule your event!

What are your payment options?

We accept cash and all credit cards. We do not accept personal checks, charge a credit card processing fee or accept credit card numbers over the phone - instead you will be emailed an electronic invoice through our CRM Honeybook to pay with your credit card.

Do you offer Tastings?

Yes we do. You must contact us to make sure your event date is available first and then schedule the pick up if we are. Tasting boxes are $25 and include 4 cake flavors, 4 frosting flavors, and 2 filling flavors (pre set flavors per date) They are a grab & go box for you to take home and try at your convenience. If needed a phone consultation can be scheduled after you have tried the cupcakes. Menu is preset per date of pick up and you can get multiple tasting boxes if you prefer. Limit, 1 phone or zoom consult per event. Email us to see the tasting schedule and to get yours reserved now! Also if you want to try other dessert options outside of cake, you will need to purchase the minimum amount for whatever item you are wanting to try. If you need your entire tasting to be gluten free and/or vegan that tasting box will come with 2 cake flavors, 2 frostings, and 2 fillings and will cost $15. If you just want to try a vegan and/or gluten free flavor in addition to your tasting you can purchase whatever our store gluten free and vegan cupcakes are the day you pick up your tasting box.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We do request at least a few days notice on all orders. Orders must be paid in full before it is made for pick up. Depending on the popularity of date and time of year you might want to consider booking at least 6 months to a year in advance. Our busiest time of year is May through October, with our busiest months of every year being September, June, and May. (in order of popularity)

Do you cater to dietary restrictions/preferences?

Yes! We can make our cakes and cupcakes vegan(additional charge on cakes) gluten free(additional charge on cakes), dairy free(additional charge on cakes), nut free or a combination of these. Just ask us about our ingredients and we will be happy to tell if your restriction can be covered.

Do keep in mind we do not bake out of kitchens that are free from allergens. We do everything in our power to avoid cross contamination, but are not held liable for any adverse reactions.

Do you have a phone number?

We have a number phone number in store to ask about any in store items. Any custom or catering orders must be placed by email Info@thecupcakegypsies.com or by submitting an inquiry through our website. If you call to place an order your request will be submitted through our website catering request system and you will be emailed back in the order we receive the request.
